SALAMANCA ã Land sales in the west of the city top a light agenda for Wednesday’s City Council session.
Council members will be asked to sell three lots, two on Washington Street and one on School Street, to Pirshlo Inc. of Salamanca. The total sale price for the three parcels is $6,900.
Council will also consider selling two lots on Fern Avenue to Carmen Vecchiarella for a total price of $495.
A third item changes the guidelines for the city’s fixed asset account group.
Although the agenda is short, the panel will hold additional meetings before and after the regular session.
At 6:30 p.m., the board will hold a special meeting with local grants writer Patrick Morris of Morris Associates to discuss ideas for possible grant projects.
At 7:45 p.m., council will meet in its capacity as counsel to the Department of Public Works to consider two tenders received for work at Crowley Park. The city plans to rehabilitate two ball diamonds in the park, using some of the leftover funds from the sale of part of Jefferson Park for the Rite Aid project.
Council members will also discuss with DPW Superintendent Ray Wilson potential street projects that could be funded through state highway aid.
