Devour announces the launch of the Web3 platform for restaurants

Platform brings together cryptocurrency and NFTs with ordering solutions, rewards, reservations and point of sale

Devour LLC, a company bringing the future of Web3 catering to the restaurant industry, today announced the launch of its comprehensive Web3 platform for restaurants. The Devour platform enables restaurants to engage customers, reward employees and grow their brands with web3 solutions. The launch provides the industry with a much-needed solution to help restaurants put their most passionate fans at the center of their customer engagement strategy and become more relevant to younger generations who value unique experiences over promotions and traditional discounts.

“Devour helps you deliver an unparalleled level of brand experiences to your customers,” said Shelly Rupel, CEO and co-founder of Devour. “Built in conjunction with a technology stack that has been in development for years, we are thrilled to reveal it to the industry we love so much. Everyone will see that customer experience-focused web3 technologies create so many more options for brands that are committed to genuine hospitality.

This announcement follows Devour securing partnerships and beta customers from some of the most innovative brands in the restaurant industry.

“The number one request we’ve received from brands is to help understand the potential of web3 and how they can get started,” said Chad Horn, co-founder of Devour. “We were surprised by the number of brands that already had sophisticated Web3 strategies and just needed the right partner to help them bring these technologies to market.”

Available to beta customers in Q3 2022, the Devour Platform consists of a full stack of configurable modules:

  • DevourORDER for branded ordering website and mobile apps
  • DevourENGAGE for rewards and guest engagement
  • DevourRESERVE for waiting list and reservations
  • DevourNOW Marketplace for Food, Experiences, and Community Collaboration
  • DevourW3 POS as a complete POS system for in-store order acceptance

Devour will use its upcoming NFT launch, the Industry Collection, as a showcase of what is possible when assigning real utility to holders of a specific NFT. These rewards will be featured on the DevourNOW Marketplace where monthly reward points, partner brand offers and specific promotions will be highlighted along with the usefulness of owning the Industry Collection NFTs.

“We’re often asked what it means to be Web3 compatible,” said Devour co-founder Lisa Egbert. “In simple terms, this means using the power of the blockchain to engage and reward customers, accept payments, and collaborate with other vibrant Web3 communities. Our project blockchain token, DevourPAY, will be the standard utility token for our Devour platform. It also means that community membership, through NFTs, can act as an access pass for customers to unique experiences the restaurant may choose to offer.

For example, a Devour beta customer will use Devour’s token-locking technology to automatically reward and track monthly meal promotions through ownership of their NFT. Other options allow a restaurant’s inner circle or collaborative partners to include priority reservations, hidden menu options, and access to special events.

“The capabilities of Devour Platform have exceeded all of our customers’ ideas for a web3 customer experience,” said Shelly Rupel. “We’re excited to launch this game-changing platform in an industry where my co-founders and I have spent our entire careers solving business problems with innovative technology solutions.”
