BUFFALO, NY – The University of Buffalo announced the second annual UB Fast 46 competition on Wednesday, open to alumni and alumni who own or run businesses.
Named in honor of the founding of UB in 1846, the program recognizes and celebrates the success of 46 of the fastest growing companies owned or run by UB alumni or alumni of the world. whole.
To be considered as a Fast 46 finalist, eligible companies must have been in business for at least three years; have verifiable income of at least $ 100,000 or more in 2018 and 2019 and at least $ 250,000 in 2020; and the owner, CEO, president, managing partner, director or president must be a UB alumnus or alumni.
Applications – submitted by yourself or by a third party – are open from January 5 to March 18 and are followed by a formal request to prove eligibility and provide the required financial documents.
“We had an incredible response last year to the inaugural UB Fast 46 competition,” said Kristen Murphy, assistant vice president for alumni engagement. “We are therefore contacting UB alumni to re-appoint fast-growing alumni companies. “
Firms will be ranked based on the percentage of cumulative annual revenue growth for the last three 12-month reference periods. The 46 companies with the highest revenue growth rates – as verified by official auditing firm The Bonadio Group, one of the top 50 certified public accounting firms with offices in Buffalo, statewide from New York and beyond – will be selected for the UB Fast 46 at an event in September.
